St. Patricks Day is HERE and I realized this morning I did not have my favorite green shake —> Greenberry Shakeology! Being my favorite holiday I knew I had to get festive so I came up with a quick green creation of my own!
We almost always have greens in our house so I figured why not take those and throw some other favs in! Here is what I came up with! =)
- 1 cup fresh greens (shown here is kale, chard and spinach)
- 1 cup almond or coconut milk, unsweetened (shown here is coconut milk)
- 1 cup frozen pineapple (you can pick pretty much anything you like for fruit)
- 1/2 container yogurt (I am dairy free so we use yogurt made with coconut milk)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 banana
It was light, refreshing and definitely hit the spot!! I think I will start doing more of these a few times a week. Great way to get some nutrients in, especially your greens. Feel free to come up with your own creations and share them with me!
